Many seasoned investors don’t have the time to help the investor who is just getting started. I discovered there were a lot of so called “gurus” out there still teaching techniques from 20+ years ago!!! When I dug deeper I found out that many of them focus solely on selling seminars now. Some of them haven't been in the trenches buying and selling houses for years. Their techniques were relevant years ago, but times have changed, but unfortunately their teachings haven't.
When I first decided to become a Real Estate Investor, I had no idea what to do, where to go or who to talk to.I created this Podcast to help investors get on the right path and quickly. I'll be providing you crucial topics and information on how to get started as a Real Estate Investor. It was very overwhelming with all the mis-information out there. I couldn’t find what I needed all in one place. What you'll be getting from me is a "from the trenches" perspective of what it takes to be a successful real estate investor.
Education is very important in any industry or field. I treated this like the business it is and I spent thousands of dollars going to seminars and buying books & tapes. I was a “sponge”, absorbing as much as information as I could. I slowly put all the pieces together from the dozens of sources I learned from. I took my prior marketing skills and began marketing to motivated sellers.
It is not enough just to know how to market to motivated sellers. You have to know what to ask them when they call or email you. And in order to know what to say or offer you need to understand all the different ways you can buy their house! And most importantly, if you do buy their house, how will you fix it up (if needed), market it for sale or market it for rent? This Podcast will teach you many of these business aspects about buying and selling real estate. You need to know your exit strategies before ever buy your first investment property.
